The rules for using Ordio
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ordio mobile app, websites and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This document is a general template provided for information only and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed and adapted by a qualified professional before you rely on it.
Ordio is a platform that connects customers with local restaurants for food ordering and delivery. Restaurants subscribe to Ordio for a fixed monthly fee; Ordio charges no per-order commission. Restaurants set their own menus and prices and operate their own delivery riders. Ordio provides the software connecting these parties and does not itself prepare food or make deliveries.
You must be able to form a binding contract and meet the minimum age described in our Privacy Policy to use the Service. You sign in through a third-party provider (such as Google or Facebook) and are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your Ordio account and for the accuracy of the information you provide, including contact and delivery details.
You agree not to:
If you use Ordio as a restaurant owner or manager, you additionally agree to keep your menu, prices, availability and opening hours accurate; to fulfil accepted orders and operate your own delivery fleet responsibly; to comply with all applicable food-safety, licensing, consumer and tax laws; and to maintain a current subscription. You are responsible for the riders and staff you add to your shop and for the permissions you grant them.
Each order is a transaction between the customer and the restaurant. The restaurant is responsible for preparing the food, for its quality and safety, and for delivering it using its own riders. Ordio facilitates the order but is not a party to it and is not the seller or the deliverer. Payment is currently settled offline between the customer and the restaurant; Ordio does not process payments in this phase.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content, restaurant listings or delivery estimates are accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ordio and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or food quality, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users, restaurants or the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction [governing-law placeholder — to be completed]. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
