How Ordio handles your data
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Ordio ("Ordio", "we", "us") collects when you use the Ordio mobile app and websites, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using Ordio you agree to the practices described here.
Ordio is a food-ordering platform that connects customers with local restaurants. Restaurants operate their own menus and their own delivery riders; Ordio provides the software that ties ordering, order management and delivery tracking together. Depending on how you use Ordio you may be a customer, a delivery rider, or a restaurant owner or manager, and the data we hold reflects your role.
We do not collect or process payment card, JazzCash or Easypaisa details through Ordio. Payment is currently handled offline between you and the restaurant, so no payment-instrument data passes through our systems.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share personal information with a small number of processors only as needed to run Ordio:
We also share the minimum necessary information between the parties to an order: a restaurant and its assigned rider see the delivery address and contact details needed to fulfil that order, and you see the restaurant handling it. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users and the public.
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal and record-keeping obligations. Order records may be retained after an order completes for support, safety and accounting purposes. When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
Your data is stored on our Supabase backend and protected by database Row-Level Security policies, so a signed-in account can only reach the records it is entitled to. Access is authenticated through Google or Facebook sign-in, connections are encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Ordio is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16 (or under 13 where that is the applicable minimum age). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
